MAYBE YOU DON'T FORGET           

{Theme: The Poem Portrays grief of a Friend whose True and Best friend is Departing. She fears that her friend would forget her as the time passes and so pens down these words.}

With the passing wheel of time,
                        one thing will be due..
You will forget me, 
                         But with a rolling tear, I will remember you..

My Memories from your 'VAST BRAIN',
                         will vanish away some day..
But my 'LITTLE HEART' will capture,
                          each Precious moment, and minutes of today..


Still have a Hope that after long years,
                          if you someday catch my sight..
You won't unknowingly turn up your back,
                          and would at least recognize..


I know! You won't let
                          a little hope of mine go waste..
Because I know you better than you,
                          and even at that stage, we'll have the 'Same Taste'..
